Wrap It Up: A Unique Gift Wrapping Idea for Mother's Day Gifts (in 60 Seconds or Less)

Past now you know that I beloved, love, honey, DIY gift wrap ideas. Information technology's bordering obsession at this point.

BUT I'm okay with that…and I promise you are as well because I have a gift wrap idea for Mom, in partnership with Paper Mart, that will literally take 60 seconds to whip upwardly. Aye, one infinitesimal flat!

It'due south so, so easy. And you don't have to be a wrapping expert to pull it off. Phew!

And bonus… all of the supplies you need can be found at Paper Mart, a ane-stop store for all things party, packaging and DIY supplies.I've been buying things in bulk from there for years…especially effectually the time Jeff and I got married. Then many things!

So, now that you know where to get the goods, here'southward my 60 2nd Female parent'south Day wrapping hack…

Materials:

• colorful glassine gift bags
• colorful gift boxes
• clear pillow boxes
• clear square boxes
• colorful ribbon in various widths
• paint pen or permanent marker

Instructions:

ane. Decide on a phrase or word for your bag or box for Mom. And then, when you lot're ready, only write your give-and-take straight on the purse or box, in script. It helps to go on a loose, even period and endeavour to resist picking upwardly the pigment marker from the surface until the first word is complete.

ii. End the residual of your phrase the same way, if you're writing more than just MOM, for case. Then, give the marking or paint pen a few seconds to dry.

3. So, if desired, you can thicken upwardly some of the downstrokes to create more of a bold (and easy to read) statement on your box or handbag. Here's how… Any downwardly strokes (parts of a letter that your mark moves downward on) describe a parallel line. And so make full in between the two lines to create that thicker look.

Again, give the paint pen or marker a little time to dry before adding Mom'southward gift, a little candy (for those moms with a sugariness tooth), or maybe fifty-fifty a handwritten annotation, etc.

4. Add together a ribbon and you're good to get! Mom will totally appreciate this hand lettered wrap job. I'm certain of information technology!
